About Us

For some of you, this is your second introduction to LayupDrill.com. For many, this is your first impression. We launched a beta version of the site in the summer, and gained invaluable feedback from viewers, developers, and bloggers on what worked, and what didnt. We hope you like what you see for version 2.0 of LayupDrill.com. Though we are a few days off what we wanted to be our initial launch(Opening Night of the NBA Season), I hope you enjoy what you see.

This project is the result and brainchild of two very passionate basketball fans and childhood friends, who have been able to bring our love of the game and everything that comes with it to your PC or cell phone today. LayupDrill.com will encompass the pro and college game, with a little high school and international flava thrown in from time to time as well. But much more than just the wins and losses, LayupDrill will encompass the vast reach that today’s basketball culture has on society. From fashion to technology, we got it covered. LayupDrill.com will cover your favorite ballers off the court, along with in-depth special reports, and host some of the most opinionated editorials by some of the best hoops bloggers on the net today.

We can’t make this a success without the support and feedback of our viewers, who we make this site for. We thank you in advance, and look forward to seeing you back here every single day.

- Contributing Writer, Sacramento Kings Beat Writer
“I’ve lived in the Sacramento area for about 30 years. I grew up going to A’s and Kings games with my Dad. I can remember when the Kings moved to town. I grew up rooting for the Kings, A’s and 49ers and still do, as hometown blood runs deep. I watch and live sports for the great memories and incredible feats I’ve witnessed. I am a bit bitter at Jose Canseco for tainting my childhood memories with his cheating.”

My name is Justin Sucher. I’m 19 years old and go to WMU in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I’m one of the few Los Angeles Clippers fans, but mostly follow Detroit sports because of where I live. I’ve played basketball since I was five years old and watch a lot of college and professional basketball, and recently jumped into the world of journalism.
